Fox hasn’t read many of the research studies that have shown the link between meditation and having less anxiety, he just knows that meditation helps him feel less fearful, and more peaceful.

When he meditates, Fox notices that he is more calm and relaxed, during the day, and also at night. Since he’s learned how to meditate, Fox sleeps better and is less irritable. Mornings are happier too, since, as Fox has learned, getting better sleep reduces anxiety too. It’s a win-win for Fox.

Meditation has shown Fox new ways of thinking and being, especially when he feels big emotions like fear and stress. When storms are brewing in or around him, Fox uses the self-calming techniques he’s learned in meditation. Fox has found his center, and he thinks that is a very peaceful place to be.
